October Round Up & Winner of Gertie Sews Vintage Casual

Hello Vintage Pledgers

Another month has whipped past, bringing us closer to the end of the year. And, of course, closer to the deadline for entering the Vintage Sewing Pledge End of Year Competition! You have until the 31st December to pin your makes onto the dedicated Pinterest Board. Find out how to get pinning- and salivate over the excellent prizes - here.

Missed out on the Vintage Pledge posts this month?

This month I shared my favourite 1980s patterns from my collection, and Marie hosted the pattern stash interview with Zilredloh.

Now for my pick of 5 projects from the month:
Gabrielle wow-ed in a gorgeous floral cape
I'm loving Angela's stylish jumpsuit - this was her second version, do check out both on her blog
Deli made the most of a great photo opportunity to show off her leopard print dress, made from a Retro Butterick 1940s re-issue.
A lovely bit of recycling - check out Linda's blouse made from a charity shop kimono and a 1980s pattern
And since my love of 1980s patterns is common knowledge, here's another - Joyce's elegant top with a tie feature

The winner of Gertie's book, selected at random is...
Number 12 - Linda!

Congratulations Linda! I got in touch via your blog.

Now it's over to Marie at A Stitching Odyssey, to see what she has in store for November...
